What You'll Do:
- Oversee matches and ensure fair play during VEX IQ competitions.
- Apply and enforce VEX IQ rules.
- Work with teams to create a positive and educational competition experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage match operations, ensuring fairness.
- Enforce VEX IQ rules and guidelines.
- Communicate with teams, providing support during the event.
- Make quick, impartial decisions to resolve disputes.
Must Have
- Interest in robotics or STEM education.
- Ability to stay focused and make fair decisions under pressure.
- Strong communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to fairness.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with VEX IQ competition rules (training provided).
- Previous experience in refereeing or event management.
- Leadership or mentorship experience in robotics or STEM.s
